On the thin ice

Perghhh tajuk nih.. bukan dari aku.. tapi dari TL aku.. yang hangat sebab kena sound ngan manager pasal punctuality..

Entah la aku kekadang bosan gak pasal isu menepati masa..
boleh wat org jadi demovitivated keje tau!!!
Apa yang aku leh comment adalah...
AKU BUSAN!!! KENAPA ISU YANG SAMA ? EFFECT PRODUCTIVITY KER ?

As Ima is the manager in charge for the emea team during this whole month, please be xtra careful on your punctuality. I know this might sound selfish, but she is now putting the blame on me as TL to not being able to handle the team's discipline. I too am not perfect in my punctuality but I try my best. Thus am seeking your cooperation to ensure compliance in this matter.
Yes it is ok for you to be a few minutes late either coming to work, or coming back from break time, when you do it once in a while. But it is certainly not ok when you always come in late, and once in a while you come in on time.
I dont care how you wanna work this out, either by setting your clock/watches/hp time up by 10-15 mins, or you just try and change and manage your time better. I do not want to see another reminder/warning email sent from either manager on this. Even worse, we must NOT have this escalated to Norliza.
You might think this is not a big issue but trust me it is. I have not really stressed on this issue before as I believe your performance comes first. However, it is these small things that could change your performance ranking in your assesment.
Muslims, I understand that our break time coincides with our prayers. That however does not mean than you should go for Asar prayers at 6.30 pm, break from 6.45pm to 8.15 pm, then pack up/wash dishes from 8.15 to 8.20, then go to prayers at 8.20 pm for Maghrib, and continue with Isya' and come back close to 9pm. Consider if you are working normal hours and your break is from 1 to 2pm, would you purposely eat from 1 to 2, and then go to prayers afterwards? Of course we take time to go for prayers, but when you do it one shot straight, it looks like you are taking one hell of a very long breaktime. I mean, why lewat2kan Asar and awal2kan Isya'? Shouldnt it be the other way around??
Please advise our fellow colleagues, including myself, when you see punctuality is not being observed and work as a team so we dont have to face these escalations anymore.
N a simple tip about when you are to come in to work, if you are to be a few mins late, your sms to me means a lot to the managers.

GG also brought up this issue. So watch everyone's punctuality.
Note to non-Muslim colleagues. Of course you are welcome to go out for break with Muslims. As you are aware Muslims can go for 1.5 hours break because they are required to come in 0.5 hours early. If you too are going for 1.5 hours break, then you should know to come at 2.30pm too.
And this particular excuse is unacceptable. Yes I go out break longer but I stay back to cover those hours without claiming OT.
Y is this unacceptable is because it would mean everybody can come and go as they want if it is. Y would we have shifts/shift allowances if you come and go as you please? You would need to cover those hours once in a while only when you have a valid reason for being late - not making it a daily habit.

Honestly I'm sick and tired of these escalations. I will mention names on my next email on this matter and copy the managers. (those who understands, this is why I was unhappy, not because of the workstation thing!)
